Firby Marketing Group is the independent sales agency of Dave Firby, founded in April 1988 in White Rock, British Columbia. The mandate has never changed: represent great music brands to the retailers who put them in players' hands, and do it in person.
The early decades ran through Canada's great distributors: Efkay Music with Ibanez, TAMA and Orange; Direct Music Supply with Remo and Regal Tip; and HHB Canada on the pro audio side, with names like Universal Audio, SSL and Rupert Neve Designs.
Today the bag carries SABIAN, TAMA, Ibanez, Gon Bops, Hardcase and Levy's Leathers: cymbals to cases, congas to Tube Screamers, serviced across five provinces and two territories.
